Livable Place

Livable Place is a nonprofit organization based in Portland, Oregon. Its mission is to empower people to create healthy, vibrant and well-rested communities that reflect a sense of place by reducing harmful pollution, minimizing intrusive light and noise, preventing pollution-caused diseases and enhancing endemic biodiversity. In essence, Livable Place incorporates natural systems into the built environment in a manner that improves human health and quality of life.
